SyncPhone ISDN Mac OS X Application

Upcoming SyncPhone ISDN Version

The development of the initial final version of SyncPhone ISDN is almost completed and is excepted to be released in summer 2010. The software will support Siemens Gigaset SX353, Gigaset SX303, Gigaset 307x, Gigaset 4175 and compatible Telekom phones, as long as they allow connection via USB.

Many new features have been added, one of the most requested feature was Caller-ID detection with integrated Address-Book support:

• Manage phone logs for incoming and out going calls, even if your computer was off.
• Configure your phone via preferences pane
• Dial numbers directly from Address-Book and from any application in Snow-Leopard (OS X 10.6)
• Advanced support for international dialing prefixes
• Support for a wider range of ISDN phones
• Supports Apple-Events to allow other applications to dial via SyncPhone ISDN
• Synchronize Address-Book and the phone's internal phone-book

SyncPhone Address Book PlugIn (reactivated) Mac OS X - Gigaset SX 353 ISDN - Address Book Plug-In - Version 0.8 Beta - 2010-04-05 What is SyncPhone-PlugIn This plug-in will allow you to dial any selected phone number from your Address Book directly with an USB connected Siemens Gigaset SX 353 ISDN phone. Simply left click on any phone number label within your Address Book, choose "Dial with Gigaset ISDN..." from the context menu and the phone will dial the selected number for you. Installation and Removal Copy the file SyncPhonePlugIn.bundle into the folder: /Library/Address Book Plug-Ins. To uninstall it, simply trash the file: SyncPhonePlugIn.bundle. The SyncPhone-Plugin is far more than a simple plug-in, the core is a complete and unique USB driver supporting Siemens' very own and undocumented communication protocol - which took months to decode.
